So today I did all my shopping for my healthy start tomorrow. I plan on sharing my food and exercise diary at least 3 times a week if not more. Since my first post I have found out that I have hashimoto disease which is an autoimmune disease which affects a lot of things especially my thyroid and makes it underactive. Because it was never treated properly I have piled on at least 70lbs since my pregnancy. I am finally in the hands of a specialist which I got to see for the first time last week. Due to my autoimmune disease I will find it more difficult to lose weight but not impossible. I am also focusing on trying to get pregnant for my second baby which may be impossible with my condition but fingers crossed.
I plan on doing my exercise at home in the mornings while my son is at his playgroup. I will get most of my workouts from you tube and will add the links here. I will try to get a workout done every day but the minimal I will do in a week is 3. I currently weight 256 lbs. I started out originally at 267lbs but have lost 12 lbs. It took forever to lose the 12lbs because I was doing it on and off for ages but now I am committed to get this done. I really want another baby and at this weight it will just make things so much harder and more dangerous for baby and I.
I found the idea of the wall chart a good idea so you can cross off each pound you lose.
Mine is a very rough one I made but it does the job. I have stuck it on my bedroom wall so it is there every morning when I wake up. I will circle every 7 and 14 pound lost and I plan on getting myself a treat for each one. I have a new bag in mind when I hit the next 14lb mark (240lbs). I also plan on having one day off a week, mainly sunday for me but I dont plan on going too crazy. I hope I can give you an incentive to also change your life for the better …………..
